Requirements to successfully complete this unit of competency

To meet the Critical Aspects of Evidence for this Unit, you must demonstrate competency in ALL assessment tasks and you will need to locate and integrate organisational documentation into the preparation of the following four documents:

  • Schedule indicating how the responsibilities and development of the work team have been agreed to and communicated to the team members.
  • Detailed performance agreement that applies to your current role and that includes responsibility for performance and development.
  • Development plan that addresses the gap/s between current competency/performance and target competency/performance.
  • Record of how the performance agreements and development plans were monitored and implemented over an extended period of time.

All documents will need to be presented to an acceptable workplace standard, and should provide evidence of your ability to develop and execute your own plans, and guiding and assisting team members to plan and achieve their performance and development targets.

The record of how you monitored and implemented your plans over time should be based on authentic workplace evidence, and might also include records of discussions and feedback sessions with team members.
